A Teardrop

I wrote this A few months ago, I was thinking of a Special Grandma....

The "old woman" was sitting in her rocking chair, rocking slowly with her thoughts. Suddenly a  " small tear" formed in the corner of her eye, but she didn't wipe it away, she just continued to rock, with her thoughts, that she shared with no-one but God.

As time passed, the one small teardrop became a steady flow, with no expression or sobs, she continued to rock and speak silently to God. The tears filled her heart and the deepest part of her soul, but she continued to rock and is glad she could share her thoughts with God.

When the bursting dam of tears had run dry she knew the Holy Spirit had calmed her mind, soul, and heart. She thanked God for the teardrops and His comforting presence.

The old woman smiled and with an expression of peace on her face, continued to rock in her favorite chair.
